RUMORS: Manchester United wants Bonucci

The Red Devils already appear set to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus, but are also hoping to lure one of their star center backs to the Premier League.

Manchester United is interested in signing Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, according to Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils are confident of landing the signing of Paul Pogba from the Serie A champions, and, despite already having signed center back Eric Bailly this summer, are hoping to boost their defensive options.

The 29-year-old is said to top Jose Mourinho’s targets when it comes to defenders, while Manchester City has also shown an interest.

With Pogba’s departure seeming imminent, the Bianconeri are unlikely to want to sell another star player, especially as he has another four years left on his contract.

Medhi Benatia’s arrival from Bayern Munich, however, could see Juve persuaded to sell should the right price be offered.
