RUMORS: Arsenal rejects renewed Juventus bid for Alexis
The Gunners intend to profit from selling the Chilean and turned away the Bianconeri’s new offer, which represented a €5M improvement from the last figure.
Juventus has seen an improved offer of 35 million euros ($38.6 million) for Alexis Sanchez rejected by Arsenal, reports Tuttosport.
The Italian champion is searching for a replacement for Alvaro Morata – himself linked to Arsenal – and has earmarked Alexis as an ideal option.
Italian reports claim Juventus had a €30M ($33.1M) bid turned down days ago and had hoped to tempt the Gunners into entering negotiations by raising the figure up to €35M.
However, Arsene Wenger intends to make a profit on the Chilean who was signed from Barcelona for €42.5M ($46.9M) in 2014 and rejected the Bianconeri’s offer out of hand.
