Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs believes that France international superstar Paul Pogba is a complete player and labelled the United transfer target as “immense”, the Mirror  reports.

The former United midfielder was one of the goalscorer’s in France’s 5-2 thrashing of Iceland on Sunday in a one-sided Euro 2016 quarter-final tie that has set up a mouthwatering semi-final with world champions Germany next Thursday.

Pogba’s performances at the championships up until the Iceland match had been questioned by a number of French media outlets, but Giggs, who played with the Juventus ace during the Frenchman’s time at Old Trafford, believes Pogba is the complete footballer.

Speaking on ITV Sport, Giggs said: “He’s a talented player. He can shoot with both feet, pass the ball with both feet and you don’t realise how big he is.

“Physically he’s immense, he’s strong, he’s quick, and he’s got everything. He has got everything.”

Since leaving Old Trafford under a cloud, the 23-year-old has become one of the best players in the world and the most highly sought after in European football.

His agent, Mino Raiola, has spoken recently of Pogba’s desire to move on from Serie A, but reports have suggested Juve will be resolute in their £80m+ asking price that would potentially break the world record set by Real Madrid’s purchase of Gareth Bale for £85.3m in 2013.

It is understood Manchester United will be willing to pay the Serie A champions’ asking price, despite letting the same player go for just £500k four years ago.

United have already splashed the cash on Eric Bailly and the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan for £30m is reportedly near completion after his club, Borussia Dortmund, announced the deal last Friday.
